  1. OH beautiful and happy! I can’t get my pansy’s yet, did manage to score some viola’s tho..

  2. I am going to reference these for next year. This year is my first year to yoink out every funky shrub from my boyfriend’s front flower beds and so I have chosen golden marigolds for my annuals this year. Are pansies and violas also annuals? Next year I will do a blue/purple/white scheme. Your flowers are beautiful!!

    • Good luck! The pansies and violas are biennials that grow one year and bloom the next. Easiest is to buy them in a nursery or garden center and then plant them in your garden. Some might come up next year, just a little different place than you planted them. They come in so many colors… it’s so hard to choose.

You might want to try pruning the shrubs back and planting annuals and colorful plants in and around them to see how they do with being cut back, that way you save $$$ and might have some really interesting plants to play with along the color.

Good luck! Let me know how it all works out!
